    You know all that can change right ? Devs said they plan to focus on endurnace stuff so i would be expecting endurance cars, tracks and more settings for that stuff.

    Geforce gtx 1060 6gb, ram 32gb, intel i7 4770k 3,5 ghz. Monitor is benq zowie xl2411k 144hz. Old computer from 2015 and uses windows 8.1. Changed gpu 2017, before it was gtx 760. I have fps about 100-150 depending an a track.

    Drove race some minutes ago and used vsync and stutters wasn't too bad. Some here and there. Formula vintage gen2 race in südschleife, it was absolutely joy to drive. I drove brabham bt26a car, blue version. Quali I was 6:th place and race got 2:nd place. Made good start and got 3:rd on first lap, then got 2:nd place on lap 2 and tried to push but couldn't match pace of the car who got 1:st place. Hardest difficulty and low aggression. Reiza ai drivers so don't how fast those are. I think v12 is faster than v8 cars.

    If Live Track needs to have the same starting point to work consistently for everyone, how does joining a practice or quali session late work? I'm not a dev, but there has to be some way it can communicate an "in progress" session or weather features wouldn't work in multiplayer.

    The dotted line at Nurburgring 1971 still flickers in VR :(

    Its the same dotted line that is shown in the track trailer at 11 seconds next to the fire truck:



    I'm running Steam VR and an HP Reverb G2


    The same flickering in VR happens at Bathurst 1983 to the large sign "RE-PO HI-TECH CAR CARE". It is pretty distracting - its in your face when you are breaking into Forrest Elbow.

    You can see the logo here at 22:47



    The flickering seems to stop when you get really close to the flickering items.

    IIRC correctly someone mentioned that in the PC2 forum back then it was explained that rubbering was spread around evenly for late joiners and with that there was always a discrepancy between users. Not sure if it is 100% true though as Reiza here never commented

    Of course I know the devs can add new content to the game with DLC. I'm looking forward to it.

    But as of right now, it's not a great endurance simulator because it's missing that kind of stuff. Once they add it, it will be a better endurance simulator.

    I think that was the sense of most of the comments: with Live Track and all the other goodies it would be crazy not to add endurance features and tracks/cars

    The cars get pretty filthy after a 30 minute race in AMS2...

    Just imagine what they'll look like after a 24 hour race...

    Covered in marbles lol...

    My guess is the solution would be a combination of further optimization on Reiza's part, and users checking drivers, conflicting programs like AV and processes running in the background. Sometimes stuff like a bluetooth mouse, a camera or a 3rd party equalizer can really ruin your day.

    I suppose as a very rough and general rule of thumb, if you can run a game at a steady 100 fps at some setting, you ought not to have issues with stutters, and often then it's a matter of optimization for the dev and/or the user.

    Check Disable Fullscreen Optimizations
    AMS2.exe>properties>compatibility
    And play fullscreen instead of windowed. Otherwise delay will be added.
    This has a negative on all sims, but especially on ams2.

    I wish we'd get a concrete answer on this. If conditions aren't the same or similar enough for all players, then any illusion of fair competition is gone. There has to be some way of it sending updated data to new players as I'm for sure I've joined a lobby with a dry line already formed before. I could be misremembering, but it's a huge gap in the multiplayer system if it truly doesn't sync track conditions.
