There were some pretty cool cars in the BPR, also the Bugatti EB 110 SC, Original Porsche GT1, Venturi 600LM, Chrysler Viper GTS-R, Lotus Esprit GT1, Jaguar XJ220 & Lister Storm GTS - to name just a few :)

Being new here, has there been any more hints, about Group C/IMSA GTP? I don’t want to turn this thread into a wish list. But it would be great to know if there are plans to expand the Group C roster beyond the 956/962 and C9.

The 3.5 cars are one era that would be a great fit for AMS 2. Machines like the XJR-14, 905, TS010, C291. Many of these machines are back up and running in historic events - a number in private hands. So access is not the issues it once was.

Finally, it’s cool to see Reiza giving us the sprint spec Group C cars. These will be of most use on the vast majority of tracks.

Or better still, the more attractive Dallara IR-18.

I'd love to have a sort of "Sports Car GT" revival simulated.

You have to change your mind set....

When you are buying a season pass, you are not really buying specific assets or DLCs, you are mainly funding long term efforts. Reiza is not stealing, you just need to put a "business owner" hat on for a moment to realize they must constantly balance the need to bring in new users vs keeping "season pass investors" happy...

I rarely visit RD any more due to the inanity of much of the discussion there. We can get wound-up a bit here, too, but there is more useful discussion and interchange versus a very small amount of toxicity here. RD is the complete inverse.

Really looking forward to the new update for the road cars but I really hope Reiza manages also to find some time and remove some of the turn in understeer and snap oversteer on corner exit some cars have(Formula vintage, Formula retro, Stock car 2020 for example) and find some time to tweak the ffb of some older and some newer released cars(Porsche Carrera some GT4 cars) and bring the ffb at the level of the Ultima GTR.
With every release I feel there is not enough effort put into the presentation video of the new content but I guess this also requires a lot of time.
Just an idea if we ever going to get also the road version of the Mclaren F1

I'd like to weigh in on this DLC policy change.
I think I'm a typical player of PC sim racing games.
In that I own them all ( except I racing because I'm a typical player of PC sim racing games. )
I have thousands of hours in the many games available to me practicing, racing, touring on line occasionally.
To be honest though I have never finish a single player championship.
I start many times, but it's always the same for me.
I really don't like this car, I really hate this track, round 2 an even crappier car and the same track,
I'm out, back to the single player race weekend set up for me, cars I want at tracks I like.
    My time my choice.
So to do this I will buy the content I want to play the way I want.
I will buy the season pass for AMS2 regardless of this policy change.
Because it's a game that offers a interesting future of development.
    Cheers

Amazing video! That McLaren in its heyday... The whole clip just oozes with 90's upbeat euphoria!
I too agree on the ffb, which causes me to leave certain cars in the garage for now.
At least they adressed the "per car gain/multi" now, for which I am grateful.

"Forum people" constitute an extremely small (but extremely vocal) percentage of the player base. The DLC move is brilliant. If SMS would've done the same for PC2 there would probably be more people playing it now and they probably would've sold a lot more DLC. None of the people I know in real life have the same DLC as each other so we are always limited to the default content.

I'm really looking forward to the 2021 roadmap. After Group C, I'm hoping the Group 5, GTO and LMP900 classes make an appearance.

If Reiza are doing CART I'd go for the era when they still raced at Indy (with a historic version of the speedway of course!)

I'd go for The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series! - you had 3 chassis manufacturers (Penske, Lola & Reynard) 3 Engine manufacturers (Ford, Ilmor & Honda) plus the famous Penske PC-23 "Beast" Mercedes Indy special.

You also had a pretty impressive roster of drivers: Mansell, Mario & Michael Andretti, Al Unser Jr, Emerson Fittipaldi, Jacques Villeneuve, Paul Tracy, Bobby Rahal.

And the calendar that year was the perfect, definitive list of CART circuits.

That was the height of CART - great days!

Per-car FFB is huge. I am incredibly impressed with this team and their plans. Now I'm looking forward to the custom offline championships and custom livery support. Hopefully we get something similar to the Assetto Corsa implementation in Content Manager (configure rules, choose tracks/weather/laps, choose cars/liveries/names/ai skill, etc.).

Thanks Reiza. Amazing job and congratulations for what you achieve in 1 year of work on the simulator!
Btw, some news about the Copa HB20 in the game?
