Automobilista 2 V1.3.3.0 RELEASED - Now updated to V1.3.3.1

For you folks who are far better drivers than I am, is the F309 "physics/setup" ok?

I feel like they are overly unstable, unbalanced towards oversteer. Did some setup changes to remedy it, helped a little, but as I am unskilled both at driving and at adjusting the car I would like your opinions on it.

Obviously I've no real life experience, but certainly the F309 seems to behave oddly most of the corners.

Edit: I like cars more oversteery than understeery, but the F309 seems too extreme sometimes.

 

Just an idea - as I have no knowledge of this car.
You could grab some of the TT setups for this car and check out if it drives more reasonable with a custom setup.

First time in a looooong time I've heard this mentioned. I was beginning to doubt myself there. Had I imagined the AMG being teased? It's Nissan this, Aston that... Personally I'm really looking forward to it, or any addition to the gt4 class for that matter.

I have a problem adding ghosts to the time trial...
I have attached the video to show the problem....
Last time I used it it worked, I think I'm always in this build here....
Does it happen only to me or also to you?

Confirmed,
Only class of car that shows a ghost to load and will therefore load is F-reiza
Tried a few class's with many times set, but not all class's.

 

I pray they can make this car sound in the game as good as IRL. So good!

Speaking of music, wouldn't it be great if the game allows you to play your own music while you drive? I remember pCars1 let you do that and it was awesome.

 

That function is build in into Steam, check it out in your steam settings. [Ctrl+Tab]

 

i think any favorite mediaplayer, internetradio or similar will run in the background on your PC.
So why would you have a player integrated in the game?

 

Because Forza Horizon has radio channels... and Skill Songs

This looks like the infamous bug existing also in PCARS2 with ghosts in Nordschleife. Most probably because of the big track length, the ghost data needed to be uploaded is too large for the server/service to handle and uploading of ghosts fails. The ghosts do not exist at all, that's why you can't select them.

 

It's complicated.
Sim Racers are horrible customers, even more so than the also dreaded hardcore flight simmers. Both spend money only short of 1000$ into their Sim peripherals, and then freak out when that 40$ software does not meet the exspectations in the hardware investment by it's next update.

And some seem to forget that they invest all that time and resources into a game, that is merely meant for entertainment purposes, not am officially certified Race League simulator.

 

I use a setup based on the default AMS1 setup, it feels more stable than the AMS2 default setup. You can find my setup in the Nurburgring GP time trial leaderboard (Steam username: fs7kills).

 

While sometimes hard to find im fond of looking for OEM data for some of the older cars in ASM2 and start from there. Particularly a lot of the gear. spring and damper settings are often far from OEM in ASM2. Take the 911 RSR 3.0 for example. All available data fro, OEM and tunigs parts tell me that this car is always set up harder and stiffer at the rear, compared to the front... not so in ASM2.
