Which series, if any, strictly enforce the rules at those corners and specifically in the manner you are describing?

 

Having studied myself the REST API of AMS2 at some point, my guess is that CrewChief and similar apps base they warning on the type of surface some of your tires are placed.

 

I don't know but I doubt many series would allow this much cutting in a chicane, if any.

Do we know yet if the next update will have AI using different tyre strategies in races?

I've had a hankering to get back onto AMS2 for some classic F1 races recently, but since the AI will only use the softest compound available, it really means I'm stuck doing shorter sprint races instead of full length GPs. Unless I want to do a soft/soft/soft race so I don't end up miles ahead on my own, if I use a more optimal strategy. Kinda just sucks the fun out of it a bit, which is a shame because the cars are wicked to drive.

 

Sure, that is a clear error in the programming. Most of the examples are not, but please continue to report ones like this in the appropriate bug thread.

 

I don't think we are clear on the degree of cutting/leaving the track we are talking about here.
Two more examples:
I don't have the time to watch Le Mans replays now, but it is largely to the same degree. I think in most series the white line is considered to be the track limit in most areas, here it is not.
