Great update, loving the new cars.
I just ran a 50% race in the F-Hybrid Gen 1 cars and it was an absolute blast!

But something about the dirty air.
The player is obviously affected by the AI's dirty air, and the AI are seemingly affected by the player's dirty air, dropping back after being overtaken by the player, but I still see them grouping up together and following closely through corners where I would just understeer due to the dirty air if I got even half as close.

My question is are the AI affected by each other's dirty air? And if so, I'd say the effect needs to be turned up a notch to make that more evident.

Either way, loving the new content and excited for more when it arrives!

As always, very good, congratulations!
- I felt a difference in the physics and I thought it was really cool. I tested several cars and liked the feeling in all of them.
- The smoke looks really cool! But there are some bugs, the one I noticed most was at the beginning of the laps in Trial mode, smoke always appears on its own at the beginning of the lap as if there was a car in front of me braking, but there is no car, it's just me alone in Trial mode, I noticed this on several tracks and with several cars.
Congratulations, the level of improvement continues to be very good as in the last updates.

 

is there an eta to when we will see the option to use custom ai online as mentioned in another thread? I was hoping that might be in this update :/

Yes! I've been wanting for more engine configurations for Formula 1995 for such a long time. I can't believe you were already working on them!

 

When i see the quality of Ams2, i don’t get why Ferrari don’t want to be in it

 

Nice! But only in Edge-Formula (1995) it seems some 4 teams had low noses, Reiza went form one extreme to another... besides Ferrari, Tyrrell, Jordan, Pacific also had low noses. All others earlier or later (by Adelaide) had high noses. but there are only 2 team slots of low noses. I think low nose cars in 1995 were quite ugly though...

The new formula hybrid is amazing very nice to drive but I've noticed it, has the rpms show in a progress bar in the left side of the steering wheel. Is this correct? I'd imagine that should be the battery, no? I have no idea of the battery during a lap, unless making huds visible.

I think I hear a wind sound now, sutil, very nice super immersive, did we had that before?

What will I experience in the dirty air flow? Would that be slightly loosing the front a bit , underbranking into a corner? If this is it then it's very nice.

So there is nothing to fix here.

EDIT: IIRC Ferrari had used 7-speed gearboxes as early as 1989, hence the appearance of cars with 7 gears in the F-Classics as well.

 

Why is the rev limiter being introduced earlier on the Porsche GT3 gen2 and other? You can't really rev the cars out anymore...

 

I started a championship with the Formula Edge cars and I just finished Argentina. This track is incredible, even it's quite hard to overtake but those corners make you always busy. And like many here, I love those Mid 90s F1. It's overwhelming and such a pleasure to drive.

Overall, great update as always. I've had the chance to properly test the hybrid Gen 1 on a 28 lap race against the AI and and it feels great.

Minor issues I've found: soft compound is yellow colored in FH Gen 1. Medium is colored white.

I've also experienced CTD when trying to test the High downforce version of the F USA 23 at Laguna Seca, but the High downforce of the F Edge worked fine on the same track.

Overall a nice update and having the FHGen1 as free content is a win in my opinion.

I did a few things today. Spending a lot of time coming to grips with Formula 3 again (it's been a while and I need to find pace again). Not sure I can feel anything different with it, but meh.

Where I definitely felt a difference was in the Gen2 McLaren GT3. There was a bit more understeer, and I had to change when I was getting on the power through a few corners at Bathurst (including Hell Corner and Murray's. Possibly dropping TC will give me even more time.

Anyway, I started off 2 seconds slower than my PB, and after only a few laps, was half a second faster than my PB. I'm not the quickest around Bathurst and I rarely drive GT3, but it was nice to see I could quickly come to "grips" with the tweaks to handling that I believe will help win over the crowd who love understeer

I haven't experienced any crashes myself since the update, I have driven the 309 Formula 3 car, Mclaren GT3, and the circuits Curitiba, Bathurst, and Interlagos GP.

Stock USA Gen 3 tire behavior (but likely can be applied for every oval tire)
Was in an 80 laps long online race at Gateway yesterday and i think the way tires are done there is not enough grip fall-off until about the last 10% of tires are left.

There should be way more falloff as the tires wear down because even when i was still above those 10% i was basically doing almost the exact same lap times as if i was at 100%. Everything about the cars feel amazing but i think this issue is making saving tires absolutely pointless, and saving tires for a later part of the race is one of many strategies in Nascar but at the current grip levels it does not matter.

 

Are cars with artificial intelligence still driving as close to each other as a train?
