Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

    Track & Layout Used: Any
    Car Used: Any
    Applicable Settings: Low car detail is the relevant setting, I'm pretty sure
    Report: The Aston Martin GT3 Evo and F-Vintage G1M2 have broken LOD models.

    With the Formula Vintage, specifically the right rear tire disappears at middle distances. It reappears when the car gets either closer or farther from the viewer.

    In the Aston, several details are blank white at middle distances. Pictured below:

    Track & Layout Used: Any, Laguna Seca used in reproduction
    Car Used: Any, Sigma P1 G5 used in reproduction
    Applicable Settings: None
    Report: Mismatch in the single race frontend UI and underlying logic.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Go to single race and pick the Sigma P1 G5 from the P1 Gen2 class.
    2. In opponent settings, set field type to Identical and Number type to Max Available.
    3. Confirm visually that Opponent number is locked to 4.
    4. Start the session. Confirm that you have 4 AI opponents.
    5. Exit the session and return to opponent settings.
    6. Set Field Type one click right to "Same Class"
    7. Without touching anything else, confirm that Opponent Number is locked to 27.
    8. Save and start the session.
    9. Confirm that the session incorrectly has 5 AI opponents.

    It's always been like that since day 1, but the timing of your report is particulary curious because that's no longer the case since version 1.6.8.5 ;)

    Issue: Game drops FPS on timed races (IE 35 minutes) versus laps (22 laps). Usually drops half.

    Track & Layout Used
    : Watkins Glen Inner Loop. (But probably most other tracks.
    Car Used: Latest used porsche 963 but could be any multi class race
    Applicable Settings: Weather was sunny. 10 X time lapse
    Report: Game drops FPS by half or more when lapping traffic usually GT3 but could be others.
    Steps to reproduce: Play as LMDH with timed race 10x usually around 30 plus minutes. FPS drops either immediately or when lapping traffic. When doing the same distance with laps instead of time, this did not happen.

    Report: Duplicate text in GAMEPLAY menu which corrects when highlighted.

    Track & Layout Used: Monza 10k no Chicane
    Car Used: F-USA Gen. 1
    Applicable Settings: -
    Report: As stated earlier, AMS2 AI Developer Q&A - Physics & AI and answered by @Renato Simioni , Qualifying on the noted track/car combination does not work. Although the behaviour seems to have changed a bit.

    If you use this track/car combination and you "jump to the end of quali" while AI is set to 120, this will happen:

    If you use this track/car combination and you let the quali run on normal time (in my case 15 minutes) while AI is set to 120, this will happen:

    So essentially, nothing has happened so far. It's been more than half a year sinced Renato told me, I was "welcome to poke me on this if it isn“t" corrected.

    Still, the AI is way too slow.

    When will this be fixed?
