    Applicable Settings: Low car detail is the relevant setting, I'm pretty sure
    Report: The Aston Martin GT3 Evo and F-Vintage G1M2 have broken LOD models.

    With the Formula Vintage, specifically the right rear tire disappears at middle distances. It reappears when the car gets either closer or farther from the viewer.

    In the Aston, several details are blank white at middle distances. Pictured below:

    Car Used: Any, Sigma P1 G5 used in reproduction
    Applicable Settings: None
    Report: Mismatch in the single race frontend UI and underlying logic.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Go to single race and pick the Sigma P1 G5 from the P1 Gen2 class.
    2. In opponent settings, set field type to Identical and Number type to Max Available.
    3. Confirm visually that Opponent number is locked to 4.
    4. Start the session. Confirm that you have 4 AI opponents.
    5. Exit the session and return to opponent settings.
    6. Set Field Type one click right to "Same Class"
    7. Without touching anything else, confirm that Opponent Number is locked to 27.
    8. Save and start the session.
    9. Confirm that the session incorrectly has 5 AI opponents.

    It's always been like that since day 1, but the timing of your report is particulary curious because that's no longer the case since version 1.6.8.5 ;)

    Issue: Game drops FPS on timed races (IE 35 minutes) versus laps (22 laps). Usually drops half.

    Track & Layout Used
    : Watkins Glen Inner Loop. (But probably most other tracks.
    Car Used: Latest used porsche 963 but could be any multi class race
    Applicable Settings: Weather was sunny. 10 X time lapse
    Report: Game drops FPS by half or more when lapping traffic usually GT3 but could be others.
    Steps to reproduce: Play as LMDH with timed race 10x usually around 30 plus minutes. FPS drops either immediately or when lapping traffic. When doing the same distance with laps instead of time, this did not happen.

    Applicable Settings: -
    Report: As stated earlier, AMS2 AI Developer Q&A - Physics & AI and answered by @Renato Simioni , Qualifying on the noted track/car combination does not work. Although the behaviour seems to have changed a bit.

    If you use this track/car combination and you "jump to the end of quali" while AI is set to 120, this will happen:

    If you use this track/car combination and you let the quali run on normal time (in my case 15 minutes) while AI is set to 120, this will happen:

    So essentially, nothing has happened so far. It's been more than half a year sinced Renato told me, I was "welcome to poke me on this if it isn´t" corrected.

    Still, the AI is way too slow.

    When will this be fixed?

    In the menu and loading screen (German language version) it has to be Boxengeschwindigkeit, not Boxengeschwidigkeit.

    Track & Layout Used: Nordschleife 24h 2025 (maybe any)
    Car Used: BMW M3 E46 GTR
    Applicable Settings: Time Trial
    Report: At the beginning of the lap in the very moment when the AI hands over the control to the driver, the tyres suddenly turn cold. Unfortunately I didn´t try any other tracks with this car. It doesn´t happen with another car on this track though.
    Steps to reproduce Start Time Trial session with the above car/track comnination and watch tyre temps at the start.

    Not a major bug, but something I noticed.

    Track & Layout Used: n/a
    Car Used: Formula Vee
    Applicable Settings: n/a
    Report: Bad external audio recording at idle. It sounds like the microphone was getting moved around the vehicle during the recording. It gets loud and then much quieter again.
    Steps to reproduce: While idling, switch to chase cam and listen.

    Car Used: n/a
    Applicable Settings: n/a
    Report: After launching the game, the selected vehicle is always a Chevrolet Stock car instead of the one we played last time. The track is remembered, so this seems inconsistent.
    Steps to reproduce: Note the pre-selected vehicle on game startup.

    Track & Layout Used: Any track (in the screenshots daytona is an example)
    Car Used: Any of the gt3gen2 or an car that uses its hdtbin (in this case corvette but it happens with all the gt3gen2)
    Applicable Settings: Doesn't matter
    Report: Stats haven't been updated in the mrdf to show that gt3gen2 now use soft tires
    Steps to reproduce: drive any gt3gen2 or car that shares the gt3_gen2_standard.hdtbin, the stats haven't been adjusted to reflect soft tires (see screenshots)

    Report: Car bounces back and forth while stationary.
    Steps to reproduce: Start engine and observe while stopped. Sometimes you need to go a little bit and stop to see it happen. Other cars don't do that.

    Report: While being passed by faster classes, the BMW GT3 AI slow down significantly more than any other car being lapped. This causes any cars behind the BMW to be significantly slowed down and ruining immersion.

    Report: FPS drops in long VR races.

    My setup: RTX 5090, i7, 32 GB RAM, SSD.

    Initially I have over 100 FPS, but after 6 or 7 laps the FPS starts to gradually drop.

    It's not a hardware temperature issue.

    In latest version, the menu does not show the chosen score type anymore. This pencil stays on the screen. The chosen points system works in game, but in earlier builds, you could also see it on the screen.

    Report: Wheel texture is flipped on the left side of the car, which makes adding details like text/logos problematic. Also, on the rear wheels, the same texture is partially duplicated in a weird way on the inner part of the rim. Not sure if it applies to other series - haven't checked.
    Steps to reproduce: Add a WHEELDIFF livery override

    Report: Top speed statistic is no longer present in the vehicle selection info UI. This stat was previously present in older versions of ams2 and is still present within the mrdf files as of this time

    11/19/25 Update: Looking directly up at the sky seems to completely fix this problem. However the moment you stop looking at the sky the problem returns.

    Applicable Settings: AI Aggresion: Any

    If player is on racing line and slow, AI simply bumps into the player as if the player's car is not there and causes an accident. Such an act in the real world would cause a drive-through penalty. If the true goal of the AI is racing, it should be avoiding that collision upfront. This behavior seriously affected single-player experience. (I reported this only because it hits me too many times as I couldn't save the bump everytime and result is a ruined race)

    Report: Several AI cars overheating and retiring to pit after a few race laps (some returning after repair).

    Version: V1.6.8.5
    Track & Layout Used: Interlagos (maybe other tracks too)
    Car Used: GT1 2005 (all cars)
    Applicable Settings: Default date, medium cloud, air temp 35C
    Report: Front tyres overheating (up to 115C) without excessive overdriving and regardless of tyre compound, camber, toe, brake duct opening etc.

    Report: I set the mandatory tyre stops to "2", but all of the AI pitted just once without getting disqualified.

    You've set mandatory number of tires changed, not number of pit stops.

    Mandatory pit stops can only be set to "yes" or "no".
    So, do the AI change tyres twice within one stop?
